Meghan Robinson is a Research Assistant for Dr. Ryan Flannigan at the Vancouver Prostate Centre, specializing in infertility research. She obtained her BSc in biomedical engineering at the University of Victoria under the mentorship of Dr. Stephanie Willerth. She has served as a lab manager in the Willerth Laboratory, where her focus was in stem cell based regeneration of neural tissues and biomaterial design, and as a research consultant for Starfish Medical, an award-winning medical device design company based in Victoria.

Her current research at the Vancouver Prostate Centre aims to uncover the transcriptomics of cellular dysfunction in infertility using single cell sequencing and Crispr-Cas9 genome editing, and to engineer the complex tissues of the reproductive system for personalized medicine using human induced pluripotent stem cells. Her devotion to tissue engineering research is motivated by a keen interest in cellular biology and behavior, and her research has been published in academic journals in the fields of biomaterials, biomedical devices, biosensors, micromachines, stem cells, and neuroscience.
