Luke completed a Master’s of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa before completing a Master’s in Engineering Biotechnology at the University of Pennsylvania. He then began his medical training at McMaster University and went on to train within the University of Ottawa’s Urology residency program.  He is currently completing a fellowship in Sexual Medicine and Men’s Health at the University of British Columbia. 

 

His research areas of focus include large database analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and translational medicine. In 2018 he formed Miramed Research, a medical research and development fund dedicated to improving Canadian health research. He currently acts as an advisor to several medical technology start-up firms and is active within the urologic research field.
